At the end of each year, CHC offer apprenticeships including boilermaker, auto electrician, heavy diesel mechanic & light vehicle mechanic and roles in various administration areas
We also run scraper schools where suitable candidates are trained and mentored, gaining hands-on experience and vital knowledge to start a career as mobile machine operators.

At Charles Hull, we are constantly looking for young, enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to apply for an apprenticeship or traineeship position. The goal of our apprenticeship programs is not to tick a box, it’s to provide genuine working experience for the next generation of mining and industrial leaders. That’s why our apprenticeship and traineeship programs are structured in a way that allows you to develop the skills you will need in a safe environment.
As the newest Charles Hull Contracting apprentice or trainee, you will have hands-on experience with the tools you will be using on a day to day basis. Unlike other apprenticeship programs, we understand the importance of hands-on experience, and the opportunity to work with tools, learn about them, make mistakes and develop in a controlled environment surrounded by experienced titans in the industry.
